Satan Fell Due to Pride and not for Tempting Adam and Eve

There is no mention whatsoever of the angel Lucifer falling due to his tempting of Adam and Eve. There is reference to him being in “Eden the Garden of God” however. It also states that he “weakened the nations”. These are matter-of-fact statements that help to further identify who this individual is (Satan) and some are at varied points of ‘retrospection’ but are not applied to the reason for Lucifer/Satan’s fall. Some Holy Bible bashers will say that both Lucifer (Isaiah 14) and “the King of Tyrus” (Ezekiel 28), where simply men whom the imagined God was prophesying against through his prophets. However, he is mainly speaking to the evil spirit influencing these men. Jesus once said to his disciple Peter “Get the behind me Satan” – Mark 8:33, because Satan was obviously trying to divert Peter’s attention away from the intent of The Gospel of Christ. The chapter in both Isaiah and Ezekiel reference things to the two men they are addressing, that cannot apply to a man at all. Only much more powerful beings could be who these scriptures are addressing, such as an archangel.
There were no nations for example, at the time of Adam. The Garden of Eden for Adam was in most likelihood a place made in the image of what already existed in Heaven, just as man was made in the image and likeness of God. The “mountain of God” and “stones of fire” that this angel was also associated-with were also things made in reference to what is found in Heaven and these are not mentioned as having existed in Adam’s Garden of Eden. There is in-fact no mention of Adam and the sin that separated him from God, as being the cause of Lucifer’s/Satan’s fall in these passages at all but it specifically cites his pride and resulting contempt/jealousy toward God as being the cause of it. Proverbs 16:18 says: “Pride goes before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” The fall of Lucifer was an event that occurred before Adam. His tempting of Adam was as a fallen angel – transformed into an evil spirit.
The book of Job refers to angels who watched as God created the earth and sang/shouted praises to him as he did-so. Job 38: 4-7 – “Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” This means angels existed before the creation of the earth, which also means that the ones who fell by involvement in Lucifer’s rebellion, did-so before Adam’s temptation in the Garden of Eden (2 Peter 2:4, Jude 6, Luke 10:18, Revelation 12:3-4). The latter-listed scripture a Revelation refers to how many angels Satan brought down with him, being “1/3”. It would be very difficult to place a righteous angel as the tempter who used the subtle serpent and was not allowed to appear to Adam as an “angel of light”.
The temptation was a choice between good and evil, the same at it was when Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness for 40 days (Luke Chapter 4). It should also be noted that Isaiah 14 makes the following observation in regard to the “hell” Lucifer was brought down to after first being “cast down to the ground”, saying “Hell from beneath” (verse 9). This, in addition to many other Bible references confirm hell to be in the “heart of the earth” (Matthew 12:40, Acts 2:27). “Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?” Ephesians 4:9- Speaking of Christ when he descended into a compartment of earth to “…preach unto the sprits in prison” (1 Peter 3: 18-19). Satan is indeed a fallen angel (along with other fallen angels/spirits he rules over – Ephesians 6), he was for a fact, cast down to hell but released for a season to temp Adam within his earth-domain, just as he will be released again from hell in the future to temp natural people who will repopulate the earth during Christ’s millennial reign (Revelation 20:7-8).
Afterward, he is cast into the “lake of fire” along with hell itself (Revelation 20:10-15) and God will destroy and afterward re-create the earth and he will then place the New Jerusalem on it, where he and his people (the redeemed in-Christ) will live together in glorious joy forever (eternity without end) and Satan will no longer exist in the realm of mankind’s new domain with God, not even as a memory. Revelation 21:1-4 – “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”        Fallen Lucifer
